ShiverPeaks S-Conn BS74280-BR contactdoos 2 x RJ-45 bruin

The ShiverPeaks S-Conn BS74280-BR socket-outlet provides two fixed RJ-45 connections in a compact brown housing for wall mounting. Intended for structured cabling installations, this outlet accepts standard RJ-45 plugs and supports Category 6a network cabling to deliver reliable wired LAN connections. Its compact form factor is compatible with standard wall plates and is suitable for office or home environments where two Ethernet ports are required in a single faceplate.

Advantages

The outlet supports Category 6a cabling, enabling higher bandwidth and improved signal integrity compared with lower categories, which helps maintain stable connections for high-speed LAN use. The dual-port design consolidates two Ethernet connections into one compact module, saving wall space and simplifying cable routing. The brown finish allows discreet integration into interiors with darker trims or wood tones, and the product is built for fixed wall installation to provide a permanent, tidy network termination point.

Suitable for

• Dual wired Ethernet connections in offices or home workspaces
• Structured cabling installations requiring Category 6a performance
• Networked devices such as PCs, VoIP phones, IP cameras, and smart home hubs
• Locations where a compact, two-port wall outlet is preferred

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2 × RJ-45 ports
• Supported cabling: Category 6a
• Mounting: wall-mounted, fits standard faceplate openings
• Colour: brown
• Application: fixed Ethernet/LAN terminations for structured cabling

How to use

Install the socket-outlet into a standard wall box or faceplate according to local installation practices and building codes. Terminate Cat6a cable pairs to the outlet's punch-down or IDC contacts following the T568A or T568B wiring standard used in the installation. Secure the module in the wall plate and attach the trim or cover. After installation, connect network devices using standard RJ-45 patch cables; the outlet provides two independent LAN ports for immediate use.

Recommendations

For best performance, use certified Category 6a cabling and maintain correct pair untwisting limits during termination. Label both ports at installation to reflect their network or room assignments. When integrating into a structured cabling system, verify continuity and performance with appropriate cable testers and, if required, perform bandwidth testing to confirm Category 6a compliance.
