SHIVERPEAKS S/CONN maximum connectivity OM5 LC/LC duplex glasvezel-patchkabel, 50/125µm, limoengroen, 15m 07-500815

For high-speed multimode fiber links where bandwidth and signal integrity are non-negotiable, this SHIVERPEAKS S/CONN maximum connectivity OM5 duplex patch cable delivers laser-optimized performance across short-wave division multiplexing (SWDM) wavelengths. The lime green LSZH jacket sets it apart from standard aqua OM3/OM4 cables, providing instant identification for OM5 infrastructure while supporting 40G and 100G Ethernet over longer reaches. Pre-terminated with LC duplex connectors on both ends, it eliminates field polishing and reduces installation time in data centers, enterprise backbones, and high-density patching environments.

Highlights

• OM5 multimode fiber with 50/125 µm core/cladding for extended reach at 850–953 nm
• LC duplex to LC duplex connectors with low insertion loss (< 0.3 dB typical)
• Lime green LSZH jacket: halogen-free, low smoke, and flame retardant for safety
• Effective modal bandwidth of 4700 MHz·km at 850 nm and 2470 MHz·km at 953 nm
• Supports SWDM applications, 40G/100G Ethernet, and high-density fiber patching

In daily use

Patch panels, switches, and servers connect quickly with the push-pull LC duplex connectors, and the 15-meter length reaches across racks or between adjacent cabinets without excess slack. The LSZH jacket emits minimal smoke and toxic gases in the event of fire, making it suitable for enclosed spaces and public buildings. Attenuation stays low—2.3 dB/km at both 850 nm and 953 nm—so link budgets remain healthy even in crowded fiber trays. The lime green color avoids confusion with legacy OM3/OM4 cabling and simplifies auditing of OM5 links.
