The S/CONN 13-48026 USB cable from ShiverPeaks is a 1 m USB C to USB C cable that implements USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 specification, delivering up to 20 Gbit/s raw data transfer. Designed for direct connections between modern laptops, external drives, docking stations and mobile devices with USB C ports, the cable combines a compact reversible connector design with a white outer jacket suitable for desktop and mobile use.

Advantages

This USB C cable supports the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 standard, enabling significantly higher transfer speeds compared with earlier USB generations. With USB C connectors on both ends and a 1 m length it provides a convenient balance between reach and portability for everyday use. The white finish offers a neutral appearance that integrates well with most workstations and consumer electronics.

Suitable for

• Transferring large files between computers and external SSDs
• Connecting USB C-equipped laptops to docking stations and hubs
• Linking smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices with USB C ports
• High-bandwidth peripherals that require USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 throughput

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB C to USB C
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (up to 20 Gbit/s)
• Cable length: 1 m
• Colour: White

How to use

Insert each USB C connector into the corresponding USB C port on the host device and the peripheral. The reversible USB C plugs allow insertion in either orientation. When both connected devices support USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, the cable negotiates the highest supported data rate automatically. No driver installation is required for basic data transfer; use the operating system's file management tools or device-specific software as needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, connect devices that both support USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 and avoid excessive bending near the connector ends. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and inspect connectors for debris before use. Use the 1 m length for desktop setups or portable use where a short, high-speed connection is desired.
