USB-kabel S/CONN 13-48155 USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 1,5 m USB C zwart

The ShiverPeaks USB cable S/CONN 13-48155 is a 1.5 m USB-C to USB-C data cable supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 with a maximum theoretical data transfer rate of 20 Gbit/s. Designed for reliable high-speed connections between compatible laptops, external drives, docking stations and other USB-C devices, this black cable combines a compact reversible connector shape with a length suitable for desktop and mobile use.

Advantages

This USB C cable provides high-bandwidth data transfer up to 20 Gbit/s thanks to USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 support while keeping a reversible plug design for simple connection. The 1.5 m length offers a balance between reach and tidy cable management, and the black finish integrates unobtrusively with most workstations and device setups. The cable is suitable for use with devices that implement the matched USB-C standard and benefits workflows that require rapid file moves or streaming of high-resolution media.

Suitable for

• Transferring large files between computers and external SSDs
• Connecting USB-C docking stations and hubs to laptops
• High-throughput data workflows such as video editing or backups
• Linking compatible peripherals that require USB-C data connectivity

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB-C to USB-C
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (up to 20 Gbit/s)
• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one USB-C end of the cable to the USB-C port on your host device and the other end to the target device such as an external drive, dock or peripheral. The reversible USB-C connectors allow insertion in either orientation. Ensure both devices support the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 specification to achieve maximum transfer speeds; otherwise the connection will fall back to the highest mutually supported mode. Avoid sharp bends near the connector ends and route the cable to prevent strain during prolonged transfers.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable with devices that explicitly support USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 and ensure firmware or drivers are up to date. Do not expose the cable to excessive heat or moisture and store it coiled loosely to extend service life.
