How to use

Turn off the sewing machine before changing needles. Remove the old needle and insert a new needle with the flat shank oriented according to your machine manufacturer's instructions. Push the needle fully into the needle clamp and tighten the screw securely. Thread the machine following the usual threading path and test-stitch on a scrap of the same fabric to confirm correct tension and stitch formation. Replace needles periodically when you notice skipped stitches, fraying thread, or reduced stitch quality.

Recommendations

Use these universal needles for regular household sewing on light-to-medium weight fabrics; choose a different needle type (e.g., ballpoint for delicate knits or heavy-duty needles for thick upholstery) when working with specialty materials. Replace needles after several hours of sewing or sooner if needle damage or performance issues appear.
