Sky-Watcher 10 inch Dobsonian FlexTube reserve-hoofdspiegel - 254mm f/4.7 parabolisch borosilicaat

For owners of the Sky-Watcher 10" Dobsonian FlexTube, this replacement primary mirror restores the telescope's full light-gathering capability with a precision parabolic surface. Unlike generic mirrors that may compromise on figure or coating durability, this unit is engineered to match the original optical specifications, ensuring seamless integration and consistent performance.

Highlights

• 254 mm (10") aperture parabolic primary mirror for Newtonian reflectors
• Focal length 1200 mm, focal ratio f/4.7 — ideal for wide-field and deep-sky observation
• Borosilicate glass substrate (Pyrex equivalent) with high thermal stability
• Enhanced aluminum coating with SiO2 protective layer, reflectivity >94%
• Surface accuracy 1/8 wave or better for sharp, high-contrast images
• Direct replacement for Sky-Watcher 10" Dobsonian FlexTube telescopes

In daily use

Installing this mirror brings your FlexTube back to life after damage or degradation. The borosilicate substrate minimizes focus shift during temperature changes, a common issue with plate glass mirrors. The enhanced aluminum coating resists oxidation and maintains high reflectivity over years of use. Whether you are imaging planets or sweeping star fields, the 1/8 wave surface ensures diffraction-limited performance.
