Poolsucher voor equatoriale montering Polsucher EQ3 SW-4233 OEM voor nauwkeurige uitlijning

Polar finder EQ3 SW-4233 OEM is an optical alignment accessory designed for equatorial mounts to assist in precise alignment with the celestial pole. Compatible with EQ3-class mounts, this polar scope helps reduce setup time and improves tracking accuracy, which is important for long-exposure astrophotography and steady visual observation. The device is intended to be fitted into the polar axis of a compatible mount and used together with mount slow-motion controls and standard polar alignment procedures.

Advantages

The polar finder provides a clear reticle and optical path for viewing the pole region, enabling more accurate centering of the pole star or calculated pole position. Its compact design integrates into EQ3-type mounts without the need for major modifications and maintains alignment stability during operation. By improving initial polar alignment, the accessory contributes to reduced field drift and better tracking performance during extended imaging sessions.

Suitable for

• Owners of EQ3-class equatorial mounts requiring improved polar alignment
• Astrophotographers performing long-exposure imaging
• Observers who need quick and repeatable setup of the mount's polar axis

Key specifications

• Optical polar scope designed for equatorial mounts compatible with EQ3-class hardware
• Reticle suitable for polar star centering and alignment procedures
• Compact, mount-integrated form factor for installation into polar axis
• Durable construction intended for regular use in outdoor observing conditions

How to use

Install the polar finder into the polar axis opening of a compatible equatorial mount following the mount manufacturer's instructions. Level and roughly align the mount using the tripod and latitude adjustment. Look through the polar finder and use the reticle to position the pole star or computed pole coordinates within the field of view; make finer adjustments using the mount's azimuth and altitude controls. Verify alignment by tracking a reference star or performing a drift alignment routine if higher precision is required.

Recommendations

Use the polar finder in combination with a star chart or polar alignment app for efficient setup. For astrophotography, allow a brief equilibrium period after setup and consider refining alignment with a drift or software-assisted method when capturing long exposures.
