Slimme buitenstopcontact Nous A4Z — 2-voudig ZigBee, IP44, tot 3680W

Nous A4Z is an outdoor smart plug with two independently controlled sockets, supporting ZigBee connectivity and IP44-rated protection. Engineered for outdoor use, the device handles loads up to 3680W and integrates with compatible ZigBee hubs or smart home systems to enable remote on/off switching, timed schedules and basic automation for garden and exterior appliances.

Advantages

The dual-socket design allows separate control of two devices without additional hardware. ZigBee compatibility ensures low-power, reliable wireless communication within a mesh smart home network. IP44 protection provides resistance against splashing water and solid objects greater than 1 mm, making the unit suitable for sheltered outdoor locations. High power capacity supports a wide range of outdoor appliances while preserving compact, weather-resistant construction.

Suitable for

• Controlling outdoor lighting such as string lights and spotlights
• Automating garden pumps, water features and irrigation controllers
• Powering electric heaters, fan units and other seasonal appliances (within rated power)
• Remote on/off control of holiday decorations and outdoor power tools

Key specifications

• Two independently switchable AC sockets
• ZigBee wireless protocol for local smart home integration
• IP44 ingress protection (splash-resistant, protected against solid objects >1 mm)
• Maximum combined load up to 3680 W
• Compact weather-resistant enclosure suitable for outdoor mounting in sheltered locations

How to use

Connect the smart plug to a compatible ZigBee hub or gateway following the hub manufacturer’s pairing procedure. Plug outdoor appliances into the two sockets and verify load ratings before use. Use the smart home app or hub interface to switch sockets on and off, create schedules or set simple automation rules. Ensure the unit is mounted or placed in a location protected from direct heavy rain and avoid submersion or exposure to prolonged water jets.

Recommendations

Confirm each connected device’s power draw does not exceed the plug’s rated maximum and distribute loads evenly between sockets. For long-term outdoor installations, place the plug under an awning or other sheltered area to reduce direct exposure to severe weather. Periodically inspect the casing and socket openings for debris, corrosion or damage and disconnect power before cleaning or maintenance.
