Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This solar post light depends on adequate sunlight to recharge its battery; in locations with prolonged shade or very short daylight hours the runtime may be reduced below the stated 8 hours. It is not intended as a primary high-output security floodlight or for applications requiring very high lumen output.

How to use

Mount the Solar LED Post Light on a wall or pole in a location that receives direct sunlight for optimal charging. Follow the included mounting instructions to secure the 80×80 mm canopy and ensure the solar panel (if external) or integrated collector faces unobstructed daylight. After installation, allow the battery to charge for a full day before expecting maximum runtime. The light operates automatically after dusk when charged.

Recommendations

For reliable performance mount the unit where it receives several hours of direct sunlight each day, keep the solar collector clear of debris and seasonal shading, and allow the battery to complete full charge cycles to maintain capacity.
