Spangereedschap Bessey EZL 450/80 eenhandsklem 450 mm spanwijdte

One-handed clamp Bessey EZL 450/80 (EZL45-8) provides a 450 mm clamping capacity for securing workpieces during assembly, gluing or woodworking. The clamp is designed for single-hand operation and offers incremental tightening and quick positioning. Constructed from alloy steel and plastic, it delivers stable clamping force up to 2,700 N and includes rubberised protective caps with a cross prism to hold round, pointed and angular parts reliably. The product weight is 770 g and it comes with a 24-month warranty.

Advantages

The clamp supports one-handed use for faster workflow and allows tool-free conversion to a spreading function thanks to a simple release mechanism with a press stud on top. Its robust alloy-steel construction and rubberised jaw caps provide a secure grip on different shapes while delivering up to 2,700 N of clamping force. Lightweight design (net weight 0.77 kg) and compact packed dimensions make it easy to handle and store.

Suitable for

• Carpentry and woodworking
• Cabinet and furniture assembly
• Gluing and bonding tasks
• General workshop fixture and positioning

How to use

Place the clamp jaws around the workpiece within the 450 mm span and operate the one-handed mechanism to advance the clamping bar until the required pressure is reached. For incremental tightening, use the single-hand ratchet action to increase force in small steps. To convert the clamp to a spreader, press the release stud on top and change the jaw orientation without tools. Use the rubberised protective caps to avoid marring the workpiece surfaces.

Recommendations

Use the clamp within its specified span and force limits; avoid exceeding 2,700 N. Keep the release mechanism clean and free of debris for reliable conversion between clamping and spreading modes. Store the tool in dry conditions and inspect rubber caps periodically for wear.
