SSD-behuizing IBOX HD-07 voor 1x M.2-schijf, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s), USB-C, zwart

IBOX HD-07 is an external SSD enclosure that accepts a single M.2 drive and connects to a host device via a USB Type-C interface using USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s). The enclosure supports common M.2 drive form factors and provides a compact aluminium and plastic black housing intended for portable storage expansion, fast data transfer, backups, media editing and file transport. Confirm compatibility of your specific M.2 NVMe or M.2 SATA drive before installation, since support depends on the drive key and length.

Advantages

The enclosure offers high-speed data transfer up to the USB 3.2 Gen 2 theoretical limit, low-profile design and a compact, lightweight housing for travel and desktop use. Its USB-C connector ensures broad compatibility with modern laptops and desktops without the need for external power for most M.2 drives. The aluminium elements help with passive heat dissipation while the plastic parts keep the overall weight low.

Suitable for

• Expanding portable storage with a single M.2 SSD
• Fast file transfer and data backup between computers
• On-location media editing and content transfer
• Temporarily accessing or cloning M.2 drives

Key specifications

• Supported drives: one M.2 SSD (NVMe or SATA — check drive compatibility)
• Interface to host: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s) via USB Type-C
• Drive form factor: M.2
• Enclosure material: aluminium and plastic
• Colour: black
• Power: bus-powered via USB-C (no separate power adapter required for most drives)

How to use

Open the enclosure according to the included instructions, insert a compatible M.2 drive into the M.2 slot and secure it with the supplied screw or mounting post. Close the enclosure and connect it to a computer using a USB-C cable. The drive typically mounts as an external storage device; format it if required by your operating system before first use. Safely eject the device through the operating system before disconnecting to avoid data loss.

Recommendations

Verify the M.2 drive type (NVMe or SATA) and length against the enclosure specifications before purchase. Use a high-quality USB-C cable rated for USB 3.2 Gen 2 to achieve optimal transfer speeds, and allow for adequate ventilation during sustained heavy read/write tasks to maintain performance.
