The SAVIO AK-84 external drive enclosure converts an internal M.2 SSD (NVMe) or M.2 SATA (NGFF) into a portable USB storage device. With USB 3.1 Gen 2 support and transfer rates up to 10 Gbit/s, it provides fast access to files and is compatible with Windows and macOS through Plug & Play.

Advantages

The enclosure supports both PCIe (NVMe) and SATA M.2 drives in sizes 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 and accepts capacities up to 4 TB. The drive will be recognised automatically by supported operating systems without requiring driver installation; format the drive if necessary before first use.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, ensure the M.2 card is correctly seated and the cover is securely fastened to maintain thermal contact and protection. Use the enclosure on a flat, well-ventilated surface during heavy transfers and avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures. Regularly back up important data as this product provides storage portability but is not a substitute for redundant backups.
