SSD-schijf Corsair 2 TB M.2 PCI Express 5.0 MP700 PRO Hydro X

The Corsair MP700 PRO Hydro X is a 2 TB M.2 PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD that combines PCIe Gen5 x4 bandwidth and the NVMe 2.0 interface to deliver significantly faster data transfers and improved M.2 SSD performance. This model uses high-density 3D TLC NAND to balance high speed with long-term endurance and includes a factory-fitted Hydro X Series water block for integration into custom liquid-cooling loops. The drive is suitable for demanding PC use, including gaming and professional applications that require fast storage and quick load times.

Advantages

The MP700 PRO Hydro X delivers up to 75% faster sequential read and write performance compared with PCIe 4.0 SSDs and up to 20x the speed of some SATA SSDs, providing substantially reduced loading and transfer times. High-density 3D TLC NAND provides durable, long-lasting performance, while the included Hydro X Series water block is factory-tested for easy installation into a custom cooling loop. The drive also supports Microsoft DirectStorage to reduce game load times by enabling direct communication with compatible GPUs.

Suitable for

• High-performance gaming rigs
• Content creation and video editing workstations
• Systems requiring fast OS and application load times
• PCs with custom liquid-cooling loops

How to use

Install the M.2 SSD into a compatible M.2 PCIe 5.0 slot on your motherboard following the motherboard manufacturer’s instructions. If you use a custom liquid-cooling loop, connect the Hydro X Series water block into the loop according to your cooling system’s guidelines. After physical installation, initialize and format the drive in your operating system, then install or migrate your OS and applications as needed. Ensure your system firmware and drivers support PCIe 5.0 and NVMe 2.0 for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best sustained performance, use the drive in a system that supports PCIe Gen5 and NVMe 2.0 and include the Hydro X Series water block in an active custom cooling loop. Keep firmware and NVMe drivers up to date and avoid filling the drive to full capacity to maintain peak performance and longevity.
