Staalkabel EUROLITE 58010417 400 x 3 mm zilver zonder stekker

EUROLITE steel cable 400 x 3 mm in silver is a bare steel rope designed for load-bearing and fastening applications that require metallic strength and flexibility. Supplied without a connector, the cable offers corrosion-resistant properties and consistent construction suitable for stage rigging, suspensions and general-purpose uses where a plain steel cable is required. The product is presented as a compact-diameter cable that balances tensile performance with ease of handling for manual installation and trimming.

Advantages

The steel cable provides high tensile strength and reliable dimensional stability under load while maintaining flexibility for routing and knotting. Its silver finish improves corrosion resistance and visual consistency in exposed installations. Delivered without a connector, the cable allows customization of end terminations—ferrules, thimbles or threaded fittings—according to the application. The simple construction reduces unexpected creep and simplifies inspection and maintenance routines.

How to use

Cut the cable to the required length using appropriate cable cutters or shears rated for steel ropes. Prepare end terminations by installing ferrules and swaging, loop-and-thimble assemblies, or attaching compatible threaded fittings according to the load requirements and applicable safety standards. Ensure that end fittings and attachment points are rated for the intended load and that installations are inspected after assembly. Avoid kinking the cable during handling and follow standard cable-preparation practices to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For load-bearing applications, select end terminations and connectors with safety margins appropriate to the expected working load. Regularly inspect the cable for corrosion, broken strands or deformation, and replace when wear or damage is detected. Store the cable in a dry area to minimize corrosion and protect exposed ends during transport and installation.
