Starrflügelmodel Revell De Havilland MOSQUITO MK.IV

The Revell De Havilland MOSQUITO MK.IV is a 1:32 scale fixed-wing aircraft assembly kit that reproduces the WWII Mosquito bomber’s lightweight wooden construction and streamlined silhouette. With a wingspan of 51.2 cm, textured surfaces and detailed components, the kit is designed to deliver an accurate representation of the Mosquito Mk.IV suitable for advanced modelers and military aviation collectors.

Advantages

This Revell kit uses a historical mould to recreate authentic surface details and includes finely modelled parts such as a detailed cockpit with instrument panel, two pilot figures, and realistic RR Merlin engines. Moveable propellers and a removable engine cowling allow dynamic display options, while the detailed undercarriage can be mounted up or down to show the model in flight or on the ground. The large 1:32 scale and textured surfaces improve realism for painting and weathering.

Suitable for

• Experienced model builders and hobbyists
• Collectors of WWII aviation models
• Display models for museums or exhibitions
• Scale modeling workshops and clubs

Use appropriate modelling adhesives and tools; test fit parts prior to gluing. Attach the undercarriage in the desired position (up or down) and install the removable engine cowlings and moveable propellers after painting and weathering.

Recommendations

Recommended for advanced modellers: use fine brushes, masking tape for paint edges, and decal setting solution for authentic markings. Observe safety precautions when using sharp tools and solvent-based glues.
