Statief Walimex 15882 3 poten zwart maximaal draagvermogen 6 kg

The Walimex 15882 tripod is a three-legged support designed for stable positioning of cameras and compact video rigs. It reaches a maximum height of 137.5 cm and supports loads up to 6 kg while its black finish provides a neutral appearance suitable for studio and field use. With a total weight of 4.8 kg the tripod balances portability with solidity, offering a reliable platform for photography and videography tasks that require steady framing and longer exposures.

Advantages

The three-leg construction delivers secure stance on a variety of surfaces and the robust build accommodates medium-weight camera setups up to 6 kg. Extending to 137.5 cm allows comfortable eye-level composition for many users while the 4.8 kg mass contributes to vibration dampening and increased stability in windy or outdoor conditions. The black finish reduces reflections and visual distraction during shoots.

Suitable for

• Studio and on-location photography with DSLR or mirrorless cameras
• Video recording with compact camcorders or camera with small fluid head
• Long exposure and landscape photography where stable support is required
• Product and still-life shoots that demand precise framing

Key specifications

• Number of legs: 3
• Maximum height: 137.5 cm
• Maximum load capacity: 6 kg
• Weight: 4.8 kg
• Colour: Black

How to use

Place the tripod on a stable, level surface and spread the three legs fully until the leg locks engage. Adjust leg angles and extend the leg sections to reach the required working height, then secure the locks. Mount the camera or video head to the tripod’s mounting plate or screw thread and check that the setup is balanced within the 6 kg capacity. Fine-tune height and head position for composition, and tighten all fastenings before operating the camera to prevent movement during exposure or recording.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid exceeding the 6 kg load capacity and distribute weight centrally over the tripod column. When shooting outdoors in windy conditions, lower the centre column if possible and add weight to the tripod’s centre (for example, with a sandbag) to improve stability. Regularly inspect leg locks and joints for wear and ensure the mounting thread is free of debris before use.
