How to use

Place the subwoofer on a stable surface or on the floor near the main listening position or along the front wall for balanced low-frequency distribution. Connect the subwoofer to an AV receiver or stereo amplifier using the appropriate line-level input or the subwoofer output on your receiver. Adjust the gain, crossover and phase controls on the subwoofer (if present on the unit) or on the receiver to achieve a seamless blend with the main speakers. Start with conservative volume and crossover settings, then fine-tune by listening to familiar music or movie scenes at typical playback levels.

Recommendations

Position the subwoofer away from corners if the bass sounds boomy, and experiment with small adjustments in placement and phase to reduce room resonances. Use the subwoofer in combination with proper speaker calibration (manual or automatic) available in many modern receivers to achieve consistent tonal balance and accurate low-frequency response.
