Synology DX525 desktop-uitbreidingseenheid 5-bay voor 3,5-inch HDD/SSD, SATA, hot-swap, zwart

The Synology DX525 is a desktop disk array that adds five additional drive bays to a Synology DiskStation for expanded local storage. It supports both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDDs and SSDs, offers plug-and-play setup and hot-swap capability, and integrates with the host NAS through DiskStation Manager (DSM) for online volume expansion. The compact black chassis is suitable for small and medium business environments where seamless capacity growth is required.

Advantages

DX525 enables storage expansion without downtime by providing hot-swappable bays and on-the-fly volume growth via the host DSM. It can act as a dedicated local backup volume to protect data on its own disks in case of host failure. The unit is compatible with Synology drives for consistent performance and is covered by a three-year limited warranty with optional extended coverage.

Suitable for

• Expanding storage capacity of a Synology DiskStation
• Local backup volume for data redundancy
• Small and medium business desktop deployments
• Environments requiring mixed HDD and SSD support
