SYNOLOGY Hard Drive Hat5320 8t Enterprise - 8TB - SATA 6gb/s - 3,5 inch - 7200 tpm

Synology HAT5300 series 8 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM SATA NAS drive is engineered for reliable, high-performance storage in enterprise file servers, large-scale video surveillance, and multimedia post-production environments. Firmware and DSM software integration improves sequential read performance by over 23% compared with similar-capacity drives, while persistent write cache and Synology system compatibility aim to ensure continuous operation under demanding workloads.

Advantages

HAT5300 drives are built for endurance and reliability with an MTBF rating up to 2.5 million hours and a workload rating of 550 TB per year. Extensive compatibility and stress testing with Synology NAS and IP SAN systems supports long-term continuous operation. One-click firmware updates within DSM reduce maintenance time and remove the need for manual Linux command-line updates, while using Synology drives together with Synology systems centralizes support and simplifies IT management.
