Tafellamp MACLEAN MCE290GR LED infrarood 800 lm, verstelbare lichtbron

MACLEAN MCE290GR is an LED table lamp designed for desktop illumination with an output of 800 lm and energy consumption of 10 W. The lamp integrates an infrared motion sensor that enables touchless or motion-activated control, making it practical for home offices, study desks, bedside tables and shared workspaces. The housing has an IP54 rating for protection against dust and splashing water and comes in a gray finish. The adjustable light source allows directing illumination where it is needed.

Advantages

The lamp combines efficient LED lighting with an infrared sensor to provide hands-free operation and reduced energy consumption. Its 800 lm output gives sufficient brightness for reading, writing and typical desk tasks while the adjustable head lets you focus light precisely. IP54 protection increases durability in environments where occasional splashes or dust occur. The compact footprint takes little desk space and the gray finish integrates with neutral interiors.

How to use

Place the lamp on a stable, level surface near the work area and connect it to a suitable mains outlet. Adjust the lamp head to direct light to the required area. The infrared sensor activates the light when motion is detected within its sensing range; consult the included manual for details on sensor range and timeout settings if adjustable. Turn off or move out of the sensor area to switch the lamp off if the model uses motion-based timeout.

Recommendations

For optimal task lighting, position the lamp so the LED beam is angled slightly behind and above the dominant hand to reduce shadows while reading or writing. Keep the sensor area free of obstructions to ensure reliable motion detection. Clean the housing with a dry or lightly damp cloth and avoid strong detergents to maintain the IP54 protective properties.
