Takkenschaar GARDENA EnergyCut Pro S, 60 cm handgreep, grijs/turkoois

GARDENA EnergyCut Pro S pruning shears with a 60 cm handle in grey and turquoise provide extended reach for pruning shrubs, small trees and hard-to-access branches. The tool is designed for home gardening and landscape maintenance where additional length improves access and control while reducing the need to bend. The shears combine a long handle with a compact cutting head to reach higher or deeper areas without compromising precision.

Advantages

The extended 60 cm handle increases reach and leverage for cutting thicker stems with less effort. The compact cutting head and ergonomic grip enhance control and allow precise cuts close to the branch collar. Durable materials and a corrosion-resistant finish ensure reliable performance in outdoor conditions. The tool's weight distribution and handle length are balanced to minimize user fatigue during prolonged use.

Suitable for

• Pruning shrubs and hedges in residential gardens
• Trimming small ornamental trees and fruit trees
• Reaching branches located higher or deeper in plantings
• General landscape maintenance and seasonal pruning tasks

Key specifications

• Handle length: 60 cm for extended reach and improved leverage
• Handle material and finish: sturdy, weather-resistant construction with non-slip grip
• Cutting head: compact design for precise cuts near branch collars
• Color: grey and turquoise for easy identification and brand consistency
• Intended use: manual pruning of branches and stems in domestic and landscape settings

How to use

Hold the pruning shears by the handle with a firm, comfortable grip and position the cutting head around the branch or stem to be removed. Apply steady pressure to close the blades and complete the cut in a single, smooth motion. For thicker stems, use the leverage provided by the long handle and make sure the blade passes cleanly through the wood to avoid crushing tissue. After cutting, inspect the wound and make any minor trimming needed to leave a clean surface that promotes healthy healing.

Recommendations

Use the tool for branches and stems within the shears' cutting capacity and avoid cutting materials such as wire or hard metal that can damage the blades. Clean and dry the cutting head after use, lubricate pivot points periodically, and store the shears in a dry place to maintain performance and extend service life.
