Takkettingzaag Kärcher PSW 18-20 accu

The Kärcher PSW 18-20 Battery chainsaw pole saw with extension insert is designed for cutting and maintaining tall trees from the ground. Its 30° angled blade allows comfortable cutting of branches at heights up to 4 metres while the operator remains on the ground. The kit includes the device, blade, chain, blade guard, shoulder strap, hex key for chain tensioning and an oil bottle.

Advantages

The tool is lightweight (4.9 kg) and compact, with a 20 cm bar that enables precise cuts. Operation is powered by an 18 V battery and the chain runs at 5.5 m/s. Simple chain tensioning, automatic chain lubrication and a low vibration emission (1.3 m/s²) increase user comfort and reduce fatigue. An included shoulder strap improves handling during prolonged use.

Suitable for

• Pruning and trimming branches on tall trees up to 4 m high
• Garden maintenance where safe ground-level cutting is required
• DIY landscaping and light professional arborist tasks

Start the chainsaw from the ground while maintaining a stable stance and use the shoulder strap to support the weight. Make controlled cuts at the recommended 30° blade angle and let the automatic lubrication system maintain chain lubrication during operation. After use, clean debris from the bar and chain, check tension and store the tool in a dry place.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye and ear protection, helmet if working under falling branches). Do not exceed the recommended cutting height and follow battery manufacturer guidelines for charging and storage. Regularly check chain sharpness and oil level to maintain cutting performance.
