Takzaag Bahco NP-12-COM 30 cm roestvrij staal oranje

The Bahco NP-12-COM 30 cm Stainless steel Orange is a compact pruning saw engineered for cutting wood and plastic in gardening and landscaping environments. The saw combines a corrosion-resistant stainless steel blade with a lightweight plastic handle to provide a practical tool for light to medium pruning tasks. At approximately 120 g, it is easy to carry and manoeuvre during repetitive outdoor work.

Advantages

The stainless steel blade resists rust and maintains cutting performance over time, while the tooth geometry is optimised for efficient cutting of green wood and plastic materials. The lightweight plastic handle reduces operator fatigue and allows for secure gripping. The 30 cm blade length offers a balance between reach and control, enabling precise cuts on branches and small trunks. Overall construction emphasises portability, low maintenance and straightforward use.

Suitable for

• Pruning small to medium branches in gardens and orchards
• Shaping hedges and shrubs where controlled cuts are required
• Cutting plastic tubing or lightweight plastic components during landscaping work
• General outdoor maintenance and campsite or field tasks

Key specifications

• Blade material: stainless steel
• Blade length: 30 cm
• Handle material: plastic
• Weight: approximately 120 g
• Color: orange handle
• Designed for cutting: wood and plastic

How to use

Hold the saw with a firm, comfortable grip on the plastic handle and position the blade against the branch or material to be cut. Use steady back-and-forth strokes, allowing the blade teeth to engage the material without applying excessive force. For thicker branches, start with shallow cuts to create a notch and then finish the cut from the opposite side for a clean result. After use, remove debris from the blade and store the saw in a dry place to prolong the life of the stainless steel surface.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate hand protection and eye protection when cutting. For best performance, clean the blade after use and inspect teeth for damage; replace the tool if the blade becomes significantly worn or damaged. Avoid using the saw on materials harder than recommended to prevent premature wear.
