Tuinzaag GARDENA CS Tuinzaag 300 PP gebogen 8738-20

The GARDENA CS Garden saw 300 PP curved (8738-20) is a curved pruning saw with a 300 mm blade designed for cutting branches and small trees. Its curved blade geometry provides an optimal cutting angle for reaching high or awkwardly positioned branches, and the saw can be attached to a telescopic combisystem handle for work up to about 5 metres. The blade features a rust-resistant coating and impulse-hardened, double-ground teeth for reliable cutting performance. The ergonomic handle with soft plastic components offers a secure grip, and an integrated eyelet and blade cover enable safe storage.

Advantages

The saw has a 300 mm blade length and crossed toothing that combines efficient cutting on pull and push strokes. The impulse-hardened tooth tips and double grinding maintain cutting performance and durability, while a special coating protects the blade from corrosion. A safety lock secures the connection to combisystem handles and the handle end stop prevents slipping during pulling movements. A hook at the blade tip assists in removing cut branches.

Suitable for

• Pruning branches and small trees in home gardens
• Cutting branches in hard-to-reach places when used with a telescopic combisystem handle
• Removing cut branches with the blade tip hook
• General trimming and shaping of shrubs and hedges

How to use

Use the saw as a hand saw for branches within reach; hold the ergonomic handle and cut using steady pull-and-push strokes so the crossed toothing can work efficiently. For branches up to about 5 metres high, attach the saw to a compatible GARDENA telescopic combisystem handle and lock the connection with the safety lock before sawing. Use the hook at the tip of the curved blade to pull down cut branches or to position small pieces for a safer cut. After use, fit the blade cover and hang the saw on the integrated eyelet for safe storage.

Recommendations

Inspect the blade before each use for damage and ensure the safety lock is fully engaged when attached to a telescopic handle. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves and eye protection) while sawing. Clean and dry the blade after use to prolong the rust-resistant coating and store it with the blade cover in a dry place.
