Takkenzaag Silky KSi635436 36 cm roestvrij staal hout

The Silky KSi635436 pruning saw features a 36 cm stainless steel straight blade designed for efficient wood cutting and pruning. Lightweight and compact, the saw is intended for manual two-handed use and offers reliable cutting performance where a chainsaw is impractical or not allowed.

Advantages

The 36 cm stainless steel blade delivers strong sawing performance on thick branches and trunks while the straight profile is easy to maneuver in dense vegetation and on flat surfaces. The saw cuts on the pull stroke for natural, low-effort operation and improved blade control. A folding mechanism with a locking button provides two sawing positions and safe blade storage. The rubber handle is large enough for two-handed use, gives a secure grip, and includes a hole for attaching a carabiner or rope.

Suitable for

• Pruning trees and shrubs
• Cutting medium to thick branches and small trunks
• Use in gardens, allotments and forestry where a chainsaw is impractical
• Portable work during hiking or on remote sites

How to use

Fold out the blade until the locking button engages to secure the blade in the open position. Hold the saw with both hands on the rubber handle for a relaxed shoulder position and greater sawing force. Use long, even pull strokes—this saw cuts on the pull stroke—to make controlled cuts through branches. After use, fold the blade back into the handle until it locks and store the saw in a dry place or carry it secured in a backpack or on a carabiner.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection. Do not force the blade through material that is too large for a manual pruning saw; for very large trunks use powered equipment designed for that purpose. Keep the blade clean and dry to prevent corrosion and periodically check the locking mechanism for secure operation.
