Takkenzaag Silky 726-17 17 cm roestvrij staal oranje

The Pocketboy Curve 170 mm pruning saw from Silky combines a compact folded length with a curved blade that improves reach and cutting speed. This 17 cm stainless steel blade model (Silky 726-17) is lightweight at 226 g and features an orange handle for visibility and comfortable handling during pruning and woodcutting tasks.

Advantages

The curved 170 mm blade provides longer reach and faster cutting compared with straight blades when working above shoulder height. Teeth are impulse-hardened to retain sharpness up to three times longer than standard teeth, and Silky's Mirai-Me Technology with four cutting angles per tooth ensures smooth, efficient cuts. The stainless steel blade resists corrosion and the compact design is convenient for transport and storage.

Suitable for

• Pruning small to medium branches in gardens and orchards
• Arborist work requiring cutting above shoulder height
• General outdoor woodcutting where a portable saw is needed

How to use

Hold the saw with a firm two-handed or one-handed grip depending on the task and cut with steady, controlled strokes so the impulse-hardened teeth engage the wood cleanly. For higher branches, use the curved blade to improve reach and angle the saw to follow the curve for efficient cutting. Keep the blade clean and dry after use to help maintain the stainless steel surface.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Silky 17 cm pruning saw on branches of appropriate diameter for a hand saw, avoid forcing the blade through oversized limbs, and store folded in a dry place. Regularly inspect the teeth and clean sap or debris after use to prolong sharpness and blade life.
