Tape Tesa 53949 rubber zwart 50 m

tesa® 53949 fabric tape is a PE-extruded cloth tape with a natural rubber (caoutchouc) adhesive. Supplied in a matt black finish, it reduces reflections and is suitable for many indoor and outdoor applications, including events, stage work and trade fairs. The tape offers good adhesion on rough surfaces, can be torn off by hand and removed without leaving significant residue. It is abrasion-resistant, flexible, water-repellent and weather-proof, and withstands temperatures up to 125 °C.

Advantages

The tape combines a durable fabric backing with a caoutchouc adhesive that provides strong initial tack and reliable adhesion on a variety of substrates. The matt black surface minimizes light reflection, the material is hand-tearable for quick application and the product is designed to resist abrasion, moisture and outdoor conditions. Its temperature resistance and mechanical strength make it suitable for demanding uses.

Suitable for

• Securing cables and markers at concerts and events
• Temporary repairs and fastening on rough surfaces
• Stage and theater applications where low reflectivity is required
• Outdoor fastening and protection where weather resistance is needed
• Color coding or closing tasks in warehouses and trade fairs

How to use

Cut or tear the required length by hand and apply the tape onto a clean, dry surface. Press firmly along the length of the tape to ensure full contact and adhesion. For removal, peel the tape off at a steady angle; removal is generally effortless on many surfaces but test on sensitive materials first. For outdoor use, apply when surfaces are free of ice, heavy moisture or loose dirt to achieve optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When using on painted or sensitive surfaces, test a small area first to check for compatibility and residue.
