The Tefal CY505EE0 multicooker is an electric kitchen appliance designed to simplify everyday meal preparation. It offers multiple programmable cooking modes that handle stewing, rice cooking, porridge, soups and steaming. The appliance combines automated cooking cycles with a compact footprint for small-family kitchens and regular home use.

Advantages

The multicooker provides consistent results through preset programs that regulate temperature and time, reducing the need for continuous supervision. Its programmability allows precise control for different dishes—grains, stews and steamed vegetables—while the sealed cooking environment retains moisture and flavors. The unit’s intuitive controls and clear display simplify operation, and the removable inner pot supports easy cleaning and maintenance.

Suitable for

Preparing daily family meals such as stews and rice
Cooking porridge and breakfast grains with minimal effort
Making soups and broths without constant monitoring
Steaming vegetables, fish or dumplings

Key specifications

Multiple programmable cooking modes for stew, rice, porridge, soup and steam
Electric mains operation with automated cooking cycles
Removable non-stick inner pot for easier cleaning
Integrated timer and preset functions for delayed or scheduled cooking
Sealed cooking chamber to retain moisture and flavor

How to use

Place the removable inner pot into the multicooker and add ingredients and the appropriate amount of liquid according to the recipe. Close the lid securely and select the appropriate cooking program using the control panel. Use the timer or preset function if delayed start is required. After the program completes, allow a short standing period if needed, then open the lid and serve. Remove the inner pot for cleaning once the unit has cooled.

Recommendations

For consistent results, follow recipe-specific liquid-to-ingredient ratios and use the dedicated program for the dish type. Pre-soaking grains or legumes when recommended reduces cooking time and improves texture. Regularly clean the inner pot and steam tray to maintain performance and hygiene.
