Tefal Express Protect SV9201 2800 W 1,8 L Durilium AirGlide Autoclean strijkzool paars, wit

The Tefal Express Protect SV9201 is a steam iron designed for efficient, everyday garment care. It delivers 2800 W of power and a steam boost up to 130 g/min to tackle creases quickly. The iron features a Durilium AirGlide Autoclean soleplate that provides smooth gliding over fabrics and helps reduce buildup. Lightweight handling at 1.3 kg, a 1.8 L water tank and integrated vertical steam function support longer ironing sessions and quick touch-ups on hanging garments.

Advantages

The Durilium AirGlide Autoclean soleplate ensures consistent glide and facilitates maintenance by resisting deposits. High power and a substantial continuous steam output combined with a 130 g/min steam boost improve crease removal efficiency. A large 1.8 L water tank reduces refill frequency, while the combination of a 1.7 m cord and 1.6 m hose increases reach and flexibility. At 1.3 kg, the iron is easy to maneuver for extended use.

Suitable for

• Daily ironing of shirts, trousers and dresses
• Refreshing and de-wrinkling hanging garments using vertical steam

How to use

Fill the 1.8 L water tank with clean water before use and set the iron on a stable surface. Plug in and wait for the indicator to show the set temperature is reached. Select the appropriate temperature and steam setting for the fabric you are ironing. For standard ironing, glide the iron evenly over the garment; use the steam boost for stubborn creases. To refresh hanging items, use the vertical steam function at a short distance and move the iron slowly along the fabric. After use, unplug, empty any remaining water if recommended by the manufacturer, and allow the soleplate to cool before storing.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralized water where local water hardness is high to reduce limescale buildup. Follow fabric labels and start with lower temperature settings for delicate materials. Regularly wipe the soleplate when cool and perform manufacturer-recommended cleaning cycles to maintain steam flow and soleplate performance.
