Tefal Express Easy SV6140 2200 W 1,7 L zwart, grijs

The Tefal SV6140 steam ironing station combines continuous high-pressure steam with a compact, removable water tank to support extended home ironing sessions. The unit delivers a powerful 2200 W heat input and a 120 g/min steam boost, while a maximum steam pressure of up to 6 bar helps tackle creases faster. The iron itself is light at 1.3 kg and paired with a 1.6 m cable for comfortable reach; the 1.7 L removable water tank reduces the need for frequent refills and simplifies filling and cleaning.

Advantages

The system provides sustained steam performance for efficient crease removal across a wide range of fabrics. A high steam boost combined with elevated pressure improves penetration into thicker textiles, while the lightweight iron reduces arm fatigue during longer use. The large removable water tank increases uninterrupted ironing time and can be refilled without interrupting the workflow. The unit’s neutral black and grey finish fits most home interiors.

Suitable for

• Daily household ironing of shirts, trousers and blouses
• Removing deep creases from heavy fabrics such as denim and linen
• Refreshing garments and removing light odors
• Preparing multiple garments in one session without frequent refills

How to use

Fill the removable 1.7 L water tank with clean tap water and securely reattach it to the base. Switch the unit on and allow it to heat until the ready indicator shows the appliance has reached operating temperature. Select the appropriate steam setting for the fabric you are ironing; use lower steam levels for delicate materials and higher settings for thicker textiles. For stubborn creases, use the 120 g/min steam boost in short bursts while gliding the iron over the fabric. After use, switch off the unit, allow it to cool, and empty the water tank if recommended by the appliance manual.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralised water if your local water supply is hard to reduce mineral deposits. Always consult fabric care labels before ironing and test steam settings on an inconspicuous area for delicate garments. Regularly descale and clean the water tank and steam passages according to the manufacturer’s instructions to maintain consistent steam performance.
