Stoomstrijkstation Philips PSG9050/20 — 3100 W, 1,8 l afneembare tank, 9 bar, SteamGlide Elite strijkzool

The Iron Philips PSG9050/20 is a steam ironing station designed for efficient household garment care. It delivers 3100 W of power and a steam boost up to 180 g/min to remove creases quickly. The SteamGlide soleplate ensures smooth gliding across fabrics, while a 1.8 L water tank and a 1.8 m cord and hose provide extended ironing time and practical reach. Its compact footprint (229 mm width, 493 mm depth, 288 mm height) combines steam performance with manageable storage dimensions.

Advantages

The steam ironing station provides high continuous power for faster heat-up and effective steam generation, reducing ironing time. The SteamGlide soleplate offers consistent glide and scratch resistance for a range of textiles. The large 1.8 L water tank allows longer uninterrupted ironing sessions and reduces refilling frequency. Energy savings of 22% contribute to lower power consumption compared with less efficient models. The included 1.8 m cord and hose give flexible movement around the ironing board, and the product’s balanced weight helps stable operation.

Recommendations

For best results, sort garments by fabric type and start with lower-temperature fabrics, increasing steam as needed for heavier materials. Use distilled water if your water hardness is high to reduce scale buildup, and perform descaling procedures as advised in the user manual to maintain steam performance and prolong product lifespan.
