Tefal Express Steam FV2835E0 stoomstrijkijzer droog- & stoomstrijkijzer Cerilium-strijkzool 2400 W paars, wit

The Tefal Express Steam FV2835E0 is a 2400 W dry and steam iron designed for everyday garment care. It combines a Cerilium soleplate for smooth gliding with a compact water tank for on-demand steam. The iron's 1.9 m power cord and lightweight design provide comfortable handling and reach, while the vertical steam function allows refreshing and de-wrinkling of hanging textiles. The unit is intended for quick and efficient ironing across a range of common fabrics.

Advantages

The Cerilium soleplate ensures consistent contact and low friction on fabric surfaces, helping to reduce ironing time and effort. With a high power rating the iron heats up quickly and maintains stable temperature for both dry and steam modes. The integrated 0.27 L water tank supports intermittent steam bursts and vertical steaming, enabling treatment of curtains or garments on hangers without a separate steamer. A 1.9 m cord increases maneuverability around the ironing board or laundry area.

Suitable for

• Everyday ironing of shirts, trousers and blouses
• Quick touch-ups and vertical steaming of hanging garments and curtains
• Household users seeking a balance between power and compact size
• Fabrics that require both dry ironing and light steam treatment

Key specifications

• Power: 2400 W for fast heat-up and consistent performance
• Soleplate: Cerilium coating for smooth glide and abrasion resistance
• Water tank capacity: 0.27 L for on-demand steam bursts
• Vertical steam: Yes, for de-wrinkling hanging textiles
• Cord length: 1.9 m for extended reach during use
• Colour: White and purple finish

How to use

Fill the water tank according to the level indicators and set the temperature suitable for the fabric being ironed. Allow the iron to reach operating temperature before applying to garments. For steam ironing, use short steam bursts and move the iron smoothly over the fabric to avoid over-wetting. Use the vertical steam function by holding the iron upright and directing bursts at hanging textiles from a safe distance. After use, empty any remaining water and store the appliance when cooled.

Recommendations

Check fabric care labels to select the appropriate temperature setting; use lower heat for delicate fabrics and higher settings for cotton and linen. When using steam, maintain a moderate distance from delicate trims and embellishments to prevent moisture damage. Regularly descale the iron if used with hard water to preserve steam performance and prolong the soleplate finish.
