Telefoonkabel Helos 014087 20 m zwart

The Helos 014087 20 m Black telephone cable is a 20-meter connection lead designed for standard analog telephone and modem equipment. Fitted with an RJ-11 plug on one end and a TAE (F) connector on the other, this black cable provides an extended reach for telephone sets, fax machines and ADSL splitters where a physical connection is required. The cable construction focuses on basic durability and stable signal transmission across typical domestic and small office distances.

Advantages

The cable combines a long 20 m length with commonly used connector types (RJ-11 and TAE F), reducing the need for adapters or intermediate extensions. Its black outer sheath resists everyday wear and blends unobtrusively into work and living spaces. The simple, single-pair wiring is appropriate for standard voice and low-speed data applications, offering consistent line continuity for telephony and modem use.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 m
• Connector A: RJ-11 plug
• Connector B: TAE (F) connector
• Color: Black
• Intended signals: Analog voice and low-speed modem/data
• Typical use environment: Indoor (home, office)

How to use

Insert the RJ-11 plug into the telephone or modem socket on the device and the TAE (F) connector into the wall telephone outlet or ADSL splitter as required. Ensure both connectors are fully seated to maintain reliable contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, heavy compression, or proximity to high-voltage power lines to reduce interference and mechanical damage. If a longer reach is needed beyond 20 m, use a suitable inline coupler or replace with a longer rated cable.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable away from strong electrical noise sources (large motors, fluorescent ballast transformers, power distribution panels). Regularly inspect connectors for corrosion or damage and replace the cable if you notice intermittent connectivity or visible wear to maintain clear voice and modem communication.
