Telefoonkabel ShiverPeaks BS70083-8/4 3 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS70083-8/4 3 m Black telephone cable is a 3-metre connection lead with RJ-45 connectors on both ends designed for telephone and low-speed data applications. The cable provides a fixed-length link between wall sockets, telephony equipment and network devices where an RJ-45 terminated lead is required. Its black jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations in homes and offices.

Advantages

This telephone cable offers plug-and-play connectivity through standard RJ-45 terminations, ensuring compatibility with equipment that uses 8P8C modular connectors. The 3 m length balances flexibility and tidiness, reducing excess cable on desktops and floors. A durable outer jacket protects the internal wiring from everyday wear, while the uncomplicated design requires no additional tools or configuration for installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting desk telephones to wall sockets
• Short-distance links between telephony adapters and routers
• Temporary or permanent cabling in home and small office setups
• Replacing worn or damaged RJ-45 terminated handset leads

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 (8P8C) on both ends
• Colour: Black
• Intended use: Telephone and low-speed data connections
• Construction: Standard insulated multi-conductor cable with protective outer jacket

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 plug at one end of the cable into the telephone or adapter port and the RJ-45 plug at the other end into the wall socket or network device until it clicks into place. Ensure connectors are fully seated to avoid intermittent connections. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching points that could damage the jacket or internal conductors. For removal, depress the connector latch and gently pull the plug straight out to prevent connector damage.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for extended distances and keep it away from heat sources. When used in visible areas, secure the cable with cable clips or ties to maintain a neat appearance and reduce mechanical stress on the connectors.
