Telefoonkabel ShiverPeaks BS76840-50 50m grijs

The ShiverPeaks BS76840-50 50m Grey telephone cable is a round, single-conductor data and voice cable designed for standard analog and digital telephone connections. With a 50-metre length and neutral grey jacket, the cable provides extended reach for connecting handsets, landline phones and simple telephony devices in homes and offices. Constructed to reduce signal attenuation and maintain clear voice transmission, this cable is intended for straightforward installations where dependable wired connectivity is required.

Advantages

This telephone cable offers a consistent conductor layout and insulation aimed at minimizing crosstalk and signal loss over short to medium distances. The round outer jacket in grey is resistant to everyday handling and suitable for routing along skirting boards, through cable channels or within furniture. Its 50 m length eliminates the need for multiple extension segments in many typical indoor scenarios and simplifies installation for both permanent and temporary setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting landline telephones and cordless base stations
• Office desk phone wiring and telephone patching
• Home telephony installations and handset extensions
• Temporary event communications and conference rooms

How to use

Measure the required routing path and lay out the 50 m cable avoiding sharp bends and tightly packed bundles that might degrade performance. Terminate the cable with compatible telephone plugs or connectors at each end according to the telephone equipment requirements. When running the cable near power lines or other sources of interference, maintain separation to reduce potential noise. Secure the cable with clips or cable ties along skirting boards or inside conduits to prevent strain and accidental disconnection.

Recommendations

For best results, test the line after installation to confirm clear voice transmission and correct polarity. Use appropriate modular connectors and avoid outdoor exposure or direct contact with water; if outdoor routing is required, use a cable with dedicated weatherproofing. Store unused portions coiled without tight kinks to preserve cable integrity.
