Telefoonkabel ShiverPeaks S/CONN 6-aderig plat, zwart, 10,0 m

Flat 6‑wire telephone cable ShiverPeaks S/CONN in black, length 10.0 m, is designed for connecting analog and digital telephone endpoints and for internal wiring where a low-profile flat cable is required. The compact flat profile allows routing along skirtings, behind furniture and under carpets while providing six conductors for single-line, multi-line or signaling telephone installations in homes and small offices.

Advantages

The flat construction reduces bulk and enables discreet installation in narrow spaces. Six individually insulated conductors provide flexibility for single or multi-line configurations and for adding auxiliary connections such as door phones or extension modules. The cable's black sheathing offers a neutral appearance that blends with many interiors and reduces visibility when routed along baseboards or behind equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting analog telephones and RJ‑11/RJ‑12 endpoints
• Multi-line telephone extensions and internal office wiring
• Running under carpets, along skirtings or behind furniture
• Small office and residential telephone installations
• Low-profile wiring where space is restricted

Key specifications

• Conductor count: 6 conductors
• Cable type: flat profile
• Color: black
• Length: 10.0 m
• Insulation: individual conductor insulation (plastic)
• Intended use: internal voice and low-voltage telephone wiring

How to use

Measure the required run and cut the cable to length using appropriate cable cutters. Strip the outer sheath and individual conductor insulation carefully to expose the conductor ends for termination. Terminate conductors to the telephone connector or terminal block according to the wiring standard used by your telephone equipment. Route the flat cable along skirtings, behind furniture or under carpets, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges. Ensure secure connections and test the line for dial tone and signal integrity before final placement.

Recommendations

Avoid running the cable parallel and in close proximity to mains power cables to reduce potential interference. For longer runs or installations with greater electromagnetic noise, consider using shielded or twisted-pair cabling suited to the environment. When routing under carpets, place the cable in low-traffic zones or use protective channels to minimize wear.
