Telefoonkabel Tecline 74315 15 m zwart

The Tecline 74315 telephone cable is a 15 meter black cable with one RJ-11 connector and one RJ-45 connector, designed for wired voice and modem connections. Its length allows flexible placement of telephones, fax machines or modems relative to wall outlets and network devices, while the black jacket blends into most office and home interiors. The cable supports standard POTS telephone signals and common analog modem connections, providing a straightforward wired solution for reliable communication.

Advantages

The cable provides a long 15 m reach that reduces the need for additional extension adapters or relocating devices. It combines RJ-11 and RJ-45 termination to interface older telephone equipment and modern wall jacks or network panels. The black outer sheath offers basic protection against abrasion and keeps the installation visually discreet. The construction ensures consistent signal transmission for voice calls and analog modem use over typical home and office distances.

Suitable for

• Connecting a landline telephone to a wall outlet or patch panel
• Linking an analog modem to a telephone socket for dial-up communication
• Routing a handset or fax machine where a longer cable run is needed
• Temporary or permanent wiring in home office and small office environments

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 meters
• Color: Black
• Connector types: one RJ-11 and one RJ-45
• Intended signals: analog telephone (POTS) and analog modem
• Jacket: flexible insulated outer sheath for indoor use

How to use

Insert the RJ-11 connector into the telephone or modem device and the RJ-45 connector into the corresponding wall outlet or patch panel, ensuring the connectors click into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and areas of high foot traffic to reduce wear. For clean installations, use cable clips or ties to secure the run along skirting boards or behind furniture. Test the connection by placing a call or initiating a modem handshake to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large motors or unshielded power cables. Avoid repeated sharp bends or pinching and store coiled without tight loops when not in use. Use indoor-rated cable paths and avoid outdoor exposure to prevent deterioration of the jacket and connectors.
