Kabeladapter Preisner KVU2 F zilver

The Cable gender changer Preisner KVU2 F Silver by Televes is a compact adapter with two female connectors that allows connection between cables or devices that both terminate in female ends. Finished in a silver color, the adapter offers a low-profile, professional appearance and enables straightforward signal pass-through without requiring extra cable lengths. It is intended for audio and video setups where a female-to-female coupling is needed to bridge existing cable runs or to adapt connector genders.

Advantages

This Preisner KVU2 adapter provides a simple, space-saving solution for joining two male-terminated cables or reversing connector gender requirements. The silver finish contributes to an unobtrusive, professional look while the two female connectors maintain consistent physical compatibility with standard connector types used in audio and video applications. The small form factor supports installations in confined areas and reduces the need to replace or extend cables.

How to use

To use the Preisner KVU2 F Silver, align each female connector with the corresponding male plug on the cables or devices to be joined and push firmly until fully seated. Verify that the connection is secure and that the signal is transmitted correctly. For rearranging or removing, pull the connectors straight out to avoid bending or stressing adjacent cables. No additional tools are normally required for installation.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in dry, indoor environments and avoid excessive bending or strain on connected cables. For critical or long-distance signal runs, consider verifying signal quality after coupling and, if necessary, use a short high-quality cable instead of multiple adapters to minimize potential signal loss.
