THEBEN TLZ 1-7 min ELPA9 trappenhuis-tijdschakelaar 2300 W 3-ader

For stairwells and corridors where simple, dependable lighting control matters, the THEBEN TLZ 1-7 min ELPA9 delivers a purely mechanical solution that never needs standby power. Its rotary dial sets the off-delay between 1 and 7 minutes, while the robust 2300 W switching capacity handles incandescent, halogen, and fluorescent loads without fuss. The 3-wire connection and potential-free contact make it a drop-in replacement for existing staircase switches, and the flush-mounted design fits standard wall boxes for a clean finish.

Highlights

• Time setting range: 1–7 minutes via front rotary dial
• High switching capacity: 2300 W incandescent/halogen, 2300 VA fluorescent (uncompensated)
• 3-wire connection for straightforward replacement of existing switches
• Potential-free NO contact for flexible integration
• Flush-mounted design with IP20 protection for indoor use
• Supports LED lamps up to 200 W and glow lamp loads up to 50 mA

In daily use

Installed in a standard flush-mounted box, the TLZ 1-7 min ELPA9 responds to a simple push-button: one press activates the connected lighting for the preset duration, then switches off automatically. The mechanical timer mechanism requires no standby power, reducing energy consumption and eliminating electronic failure points. Its screw terminals ensure secure wiring, and the potential-free contact allows control of external devices such as ventilation fans or signal lamps.
