Thermaltake SWAFAN 14 RGB ventilator, 14 cm, zwart, 500–2000 RPM

The Thermaltake SWAFAN 14 RGB (CL-F138-PL14SW-A, EAN 4713227534239) is a 140 mm case fan designed to provide adjustable airflow for PC cooling. With a speed range of 500–2000 RPM and a maximum static pressure of 3.12 mmH2O, this black fan balances quiet operation at low speeds and stronger airflow when higher cooling performance is required. The integrated RGB lighting supports visual customization while the standard 140 mm form factor fits most mid-tower and full-tower computer cases and compatible radiator mounts.

Advantages

The fan offers a wide RPM range for flexible cooling control, allowing quieter operation during light loads and increased airflow under heavy system demand. Its 140 mm diameter delivers larger airflow per revolution compared with smaller fans, improving case ventilation and component temperature management. The black finish provides a neutral appearance that integrates with varied case interior styles, and the RGB lighting adds visual customization without compromising the fan’s primary cooling function.

Suitable for

• Case cooling in mid-tower and full-tower PCs
• Replacement or upgrade for existing 140 mm fans
• Use on air-cooled CPU or GPU setups that accept 140 mm fans
• Radiator mounting in compatible water-cooling loops (verify spacing and bracket compatibility)

How to use

Install the Thermaltake SWAFAN 14 RGB in any supported 140 mm mounting location inside the PC case, ensuring proper airflow direction according to your cooling layout (intake or exhaust). Secure the fan using the provided screws or compatible mounting hardware and connect the power and RGB connectors to the motherboard or controller as specified by your system. Adjust fan speed through the motherboard fan headers, BIOS, or fan controller to match your desired noise and cooling balance. Verify clearance around other components and confirm the RGB connection is compatible with your controller before powering the system.

Recommendations

For balanced performance, set the fan curve to maintain moderate RPMs during idle and light use and allow higher RPMs under load. When used on radiators, confirm the fan's static pressure suits the radiator density. Periodically clean the fan blades and surrounding filters to preserve airflow and cooling efficiency. Ensure RGB control is configured in your system software or controller to avoid unintended lighting states.
