Thermoskan ROTPUNKT 1,5 L, model 227 SPB, sparking zwart

ROTPUNKT thermos jug 1.5 L (model 227 SPB) is a vacuum-insulated beverage container designed to maintain the temperature of hot or cold drinks for extended periods. The 1.5-litre capacity is suitable for household use or small gatherings, and the pour-spout jug shape supports controlled pouring and easy serving. The exterior finish in sparking black combines a neutral aesthetic with a practical surface suitable for kitchens, office kitchens, and event tables.

Advantages

The double-wall vacuum construction reduces heat transfer to preserve beverage temperature while minimizing external condensation or heat on the outer surface. The jug design includes a spout that enables drip-free pouring and a handle sized for stable carrying and serving. Materials chosen for internal contact with beverages are selected for durability and ease of cleaning. The 1.5 L capacity balances portability with sufficient volume for multiple servings.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Serving hot beverages such as tea or coffee in a small office or at home
• Keeping chilled drinks cold during meetings or social gatherings
• Use at events, buffets, or catering where frequent pouring is required
• Daily use in kitchens where a medium-capacity insulated jug is needed

How to use

Preheat or pre-chill the jug by filling it briefly with hot or cold water and then discarding the water before adding the beverage to improve temperature retention. Pour beverages through the spout using the handle for control, and close any lid mechanism when the jug is not in use to maintain insulation. Allow the jug to come to room temperature before cleaning and follow care instructions to avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads that could damage the finish.

Recommendations

For best thermal performance, fill the jug close to its capacity and avoid leaving it open for extended periods. Hand wash recommended to preserve the exterior finish and sealing components; check seals periodically and replace if wear or damage is observed.
