Thermotransferlint Zebra WAX RIBBON 60MMX450M 1600

The Zebra WAX RIBBON 60MMX450M 1600 is a thermal transfer ribbon with a 60 mm width and 450 m length designed for general-purpose label printing. Formulated as a wax ribbon, it produces clear, high-contrast text and barcodes on a wide range of standard paper labels. The ribbon is intended for use with compatible Zebra thermal printers and offers a balance of print quality and cost-efficiency for medium- to high-volume labeling tasks.

Advantages

The wax formulation delivers sharp, readable barcodes and crisp text on paper-based labels while maintaining consistent performance across long rolls. Its 450 m length reduces the frequency of ribbon changes and supports continuous printing jobs. Designed for dependable feeding and stable print density, the ribbon minimizes downtime and waste in typical office, warehousing, or retail environments.

Suitable for

• Printing barcodes and text labels for shipping and logistics
• Warehouse inventory and stock labeling on paper labels
• Retail price tags and shelf labels where basic scratch resistance is sufficient
• General office and administration labeling tasks

Key specifications

• Ribbon type: Wax thermal transfer
• Width: 60 mm
• Length: 450 m
• Core diameter: standard industrial core size (fits Zebra-compatible spindles)
• Color: black
• Intended substrate: paper and other uncoated label stocks

How to use

Install the ribbon in a compatible Zebra thermal transfer printer following the printer manufacturer’s instructions for ribbon loading and threading. Ensure the ribbon is seated correctly on the supply and take-up spindles to avoid wrinkling or slippage. Configure the printer settings for a wax ribbon and the specific label stock to optimize print darkness and printhead temperature. For best results, perform a test print and adjust darkness or speed settings as needed.

Recommendations

Store the ribbon in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high humidity. Use with paper or semi-coated label stocks for optimal durability; avoid using on glossy or heavily coated materials where adhesion or smudging may occur. Replace the ribbon when print density declines or when the take-up spool reaches full capacity.
