Tijdschrift-/boekomslag Herlitz 5215108

The Herlitz 5215108 magazine/book cover is a transparent protective sleeve made from durable polypropylene (PP). Designed as a single-piece cover for standard-sized magazines and books, it provides a clear view of the front page while shielding the item from dust, moisture and surface wear. The slim, lightweight construction preserves the original format of documents and keeps printed material neat during storage, transport or display.

Advantages

The polypropylene material offers good tear resistance and retains clarity over time, ensuring long-lasting protection without yellowing under normal indoor conditions. The single-piece design fits standard magazine and book dimensions securely, preventing slipping and edge damage. Its transparent finish provides unobstructed visibility of titles and covers, allowing fast identification when stored on shelves or in binders. The cover is easy to clean with a soft cloth and resists light soiling and moisture.

Key specifications

• Material: transparent polypropylene (PP)
• Design: single-piece slip-on cover
• Compatibility: standard magazine and book formats
• Finish: clear, glossy surface
• Protection: dust, light moisture and surface abrasion resistance
• Weight: lightweight and thin construction for minimal bulk

How to use

Slide the front cover of the magazine or book gently into the open end of the sleeve until the spine and corners are aligned with the cover edges. Ensure the item sits flat within the sleeve and adjust the position so that the front page remains fully visible through the transparent material. For storage, place covered items upright on shelves or stack them flat; avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to maintain clarity of the polypropylene.

Recommendations

For best results, clean the cover with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Use the cover for items that match standard magazine or book sizes; oversized or unusually thick books may not fit securely. Store covered items in a cool, dry place and avoid heavy stacking to prevent deformation.
