TOSLINK-bus DELOCK keystone-module 86868

The DeLOCK Keystone Module TOSLINK female connector (model 86868) is a compact keystone insert for extending or routing optical audio connections. Designed for flat installations, the module fits standard keystone cutouts and provides a right-angled short TOSLINK pigtail to allow space-saving placement in patch panels, faceplates or surface-mount boxes. Its black housing and standardised dimensions make it suitable for clean, professional audio installations where a low mounting depth is required.

Advantages

The module offers a standardised keystone form factor for easy snap-in mounting and replacement. Its short, angled TOSLINK cable reduces required mounting depth, enabling installation in tight spaces such as equipment racks and cable ducts. The female TOSLINK connector provides a straightforward optical audio interface for transmitting digital audio signals without electrical interference.

Suitable for

• Extending or routing optical TOSLINK audio connections in home or professional AV setups
• Installation in keystone patch panels, faceplates or surface-mount boxes
• Space-constrained mounting locations such as shallow racks, cabinets or cable ducts

Ensure connectors are clean and aligned before mating to maintain optimal optical signal quality. For removal, press the retention clips and pull the module out of the cutout.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid bending the short optical pigtail sharply and keep connectors free of dust. Use the module in standard keystone-compatible panels and faceplates; confirm cutout compatibility before installation.
