TP-Link Archer AX1800 Dualband Wi-Fi 6 USB-adapter

Archer TX20U is a USB Wi‑Fi adapter that brings Wi‑Fi 6 performance to your PC. It supports the latest wireless standards to reduce lag and speed up network tasks, while built‑in high‑performance antennas and beamforming improve reception and connection stability at greater distances. Connected via USB 3.0, the adapter delivers higher transfer throughput for smoother HD streaming, online gaming and large downloads.

Advantages

Wi‑Fi 6 technology reduces latency and increases network efficiency, enabling better responsiveness for gaming and video. MU‑MIMO and OFDMA help the network handle multiple devices simultaneously with less congestion. Integrated high‑gain antennas with beamforming focus signal strength toward the router for wider coverage and more reliable connections. USB 3.0 connection provides superior data transfer speeds and backward compatibility with USB 2.0.

Key specifications

• Wi‑Fi standard: Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) compatible with previous 802.11 standards
• Technologies: MU‑MIMO, OFDMA, Beamforming
• Interface: USB 3.0 (backward compatible with USB 2.0)
• Maximum USB transfer rate: up to 4.8 Gbps
• Use cases: HD streaming, online gaming, large file downloads

How to use

Plug the Archer TX20U into an available USB 3.0 port on your PC and install the provided drivers or download the latest drivers from the manufacturer website. Position the adapter so its antennas have a clear orientation toward your router to benefit from beamforming. Pair the adapter with a Wi‑Fi 6 compatible router for optimal performance; it also works with earlier router standards. After installation, connect to your Wi‑Fi network and verify network settings to ensure full speed and low latency.

Recommendations

For best results use a USB 3.0 port and a Wi‑Fi 6 router; keep the adapter unobstructed and oriented toward the router. If experiencing interference or weak signal, try repositioning the adapter or router and update drivers to the latest version.
