TP-Link Festa F65-Outdoor 3000 Mbit/s wit Power over Ethernet (PoE)

The TP-Link Festa F65-Outdoor is an outdoor access point designed to deliver Wi‑Fi 6 performance for small businesses and public outdoor areas. It supports simultaneous dual‑band operation (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) with a combined maximum data rate up to 3000 Mbit/s, WPA3 security, Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, and a weather‑ready white housing. Centralized cloud management is available through the Festa app or web portal, providing simple administration without the need for dedicated IT staff.

Advantages

The Festa F65‑Outdoor provides wide coverage using professional antenna arrays and high‑power amplifiers to serve many clients in open spaces. Built‑in Festa Smart Antenna algorithms reduce interference and extend effective range, while Wi‑Fi 6 features such as OFDMA and MU‑MIMO improve capacity for simultaneous connections. Mesh and Seamless Roaming support enable flexible network topologies and automatic client handover between access points. PoE simplifies installation by combining power and data on a single cable.

Suitable for

• Outdoor terraces, parks and open public areas
• Small business locations with multiple wireless clients
• Event spaces and temporary outdoor deployments
• Sites where running separate power lines is difficult (PoE)

How to use

Mount the access point in a suitable outdoor location with clear line of sight towards the coverage area. Connect the device to a PoE injector or PoE switch using the RJ‑45 Ethernet port to provide both power and network connectivity. Use the Festa app or web portal to adopt the device into your cloud account, configure SSIDs, security (WPA3), and enable Mesh or Seamless Roaming if you have multiple units. Place additional Festa units as needed to achieve contiguous coverage and use the management interface to monitor client connections and performance.

Recommendations

For best outdoor coverage, position units above obstructions, keep antennas unobstructed, and allow spacing between devices to reduce interference. Use PoE cabling rated for outdoor or weather‑protected runs where necessary, and keep firmware updated via the Festa cloud management for security and performance improvements.
