TP-Link ME1500X(EU) netwerk-extender wit 10, 100, 1000 Mbit/s

The TP-Link ME1500X network extender expands the coverage of an existing router by retransmitting Wi‑Fi signals to areas with weak or no reception. It supports Wi‑Fi standards 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax (AX1500) and is backward compatible with previous generations. The device also accepts a wired internet connection via its Ethernet port and can operate as a dual‑band access point. Its compact white enclosure (84.7 × 39 × 112 mm) and single RJ‑45 LAN port (10/100/1000 Mbit/s) make it suitable for home or small office environments.

Advantages

Two adjustable high‑gain antennas improve signal reach in hard‑to‑cover areas while maintaining compatibility with legacy Wi‑Fi devices. The ME1500X supports EasyMesh for building a seamless whole‑home mesh network using a single SSID and password across compatible access points. One‑touch WPS setup simplifies pairing with an existing router, and built‑in access point mode lets you create a new Wi‑Fi network from a wired Ethernet connection.

Suitable for

• Extending Wi‑Fi coverage in apartments, houses, or small offices
• Creating a simple mesh network with EasyMesh‑compatible APs
• Providing Wi‑Fi from a wired Ethernet outlet using access point mode
• Improving signal in dead zones for smart home devices, phones, and laptops

How to use

Place the ME1500X between your router and the area with poor Wi‑Fi coverage, keeping it within the router’s signal range. For a quick connection, press the WPS button on your router and then on the extender to pair them automatically. To use as an access point, connect the extender to a modem or wall Ethernet outlet with an Ethernet cable and configure the network settings through the web interface or companion app. Follow on‑screen instructions to set SSID and password or enable EasyMesh to integrate with other compatible APs.

Recommendations

Position the extender at a midpoint where it still receives a strong signal from the router; avoid placing it inside closed cabinets or near large metal objects to maintain optimal performance.
