TP-Link VIGI 4MP Full-Color Wi-Fi Turret netwerkcamera

All The Colors, All The Time 4MP Full-Color Wi‑Fi Turret Network Camera provides 4MP resolution and full‑color imaging day and night using a large‑aperture lens, a high‑sensitivity sensor, and built‑in supplemental lights. The camera supports wired or wireless networking, onboard SD storage, two‑way audio, active defense with sound and light alarms, smart detection modes, and compatibility with ONVIF.

Advantages

The VIGI Full‑Color camera maintains clear, colorful images even in dark environments and offers flexible wired or Wi‑Fi installation with built‑in 2×2 MIMO antennas. Smart video‑enhancement features (Smart IR, WDR, 3D DNR) improve image quality in varied lighting. Smart detection, two‑way audio and active defense enable immediate alerts and deterrence. Multiple management and storage options (VIGI NVR, app, Security Manager, SD card) simplify setup and operation while smart video coding reduces bandwidth and storage usage without lowering visible quality.

Key specifications

• Maximum resolution: 4MP
• Imaging: Full‑color day/night with supplemental lights
• Networking: Wired or Wi‑Fi with 2×2 MIMO antennas
• Smart features: Motion detection, area intrusion, line crossing, camera tampering
• Active defense: Sound and light alarms

How to use

Power the camera and choose wired Ethernet or connect via Wi‑Fi; the built‑in 2×2 MIMO antennas facilitate wireless setup. Insert an SD card if local recording is desired or connect to a VIGI NVR or the VIGI app/Security Manager for centralized recording and monitoring. Configure smart detection zones (motion, area, line crossing, tamper) and enable active defense to trigger sound and light alarms on abnormal events. Use two‑way audio for live communication through the camera feed.

Recommendations

Place the camera to cover key access points and set customized activity zones for focused monitoring. Use the supplemental lights and Smart IR for night coverage and enable smart video coding to reduce storage and network load while maintaining image clarity. For business deployments, integrate the camera with a VIGI NVR and Security Manager for centralized management and reliable local recording.
