Draadloze USB-WLAN-adapter TP-LINK Archer TX35U PLUS — WLAN 6 dualband 1201 Mbit/s, USB-gevoed, zwart

TP‑LINK Archer TX35U PLUS is a USB‑powered wireless network adapter that adds or upgrades WLAN capability on desktop PCs and laptops. The adapter supports Wi‑Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) and is backward compatible with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards, providing dual‑band connectivity on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. With a maximum physical data rate up to 1201 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and support for USB host interface, the device is designed for faster wireless throughput, lower latency and improved network efficiency when paired with compatible access points.

Advantages

The Archer TX35U PLUS delivers Wi‑Fi 6 features such as OFDMA and MU‑MIMO to improve multi‑device performance and reduce latency for interactive tasks. Dual high‑gain external antennas with beamforming extend usable range and help stabilise connections. USB 3.x host interface enables higher transfer capacity compared with USB 2.0, and support for modern security protocols (including WPA3 when supported by the access point) provides updated encryption options. The compact, USB‑powered design makes installation and relocation straightforward without the need for an external power supply.

Suitable for

• Upgrading older PCs or laptops to Wi‑Fi 6 capability
• Low‑latency online gaming and video conferencing
• Streaming HD or 4K video over a dual‑band network
• Improving wireless performance in environments with multiple connected devices

How to use

Plug the Archer TX35U PLUS into an available USB port on your PC or laptop and install the appropriate driver for your operating system. After driver installation, select the preferred SSID and network band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) from your system network settings and enter the network password. For best throughput, use a USB 3.x port and pair the adapter with a Wi‑Fi 6 capable access point that supports OFDMA, MU‑MIMO and 1024‑QAM. If features are not available, update the adapter driver and verify access point capabilities.

Recommendations

Place the adapter where there are minimal physical obstructions and away from sources of radio interference to improve signal quality. Use the 5 GHz band for high‑speed tasks like streaming and gaming, and the 2.4 GHz band for broader coverage. Ensure your router or access point supports the desired Wi‑Fi 6 features (OFDMA, MU‑MIMO, WPA3) to take full advantage of the adapter's capabilities. Keep device drivers up to date for optimal compatibility and performance.
