TP-Link VIGI C340I 2.8MM beveiligingscamera bullet IP-beveiligingscamera buiten 2560 x 1440 pixel plafond/muur/paal

The TP-Link VIGI C340I 2.8MM is a 4MP outdoor IR bullet IP security camera that records at 2560 × 1440 resolution and is designed for wired installation on ceilings, walls or poles. It delivers clear images in low light (minimum illumination 0.01 lx) and offers a wide horizontal field of view (88.8°) with options for 2.8 / 4 / 6 mm lenses to suit different coverage needs. The camera supports PoE or 12V DC power and has an IP67 rating for protection against dust and water, operating in temperatures from -30 to 60 °C.

Advantages

This model provides higher-resolution 4MP video for improved detail capture while using efficient compression to reduce bandwidth and storage needs without sacrificing image clarity. Built-in AI enables human and vehicle classification for more accurate alerts, and multiple smart detections notify you of crossing lines, intrusion into defined areas, tampering, and abandoned or removed objects. Image-enhancing technologies such as Smart IR, WDR, 3D DNR and night vision improve footage quality in challenging lighting. Dual power options (PoE and 12V DC) and three lens choices make installation and field-of-view selection flexible.

Suitable for

• Outdoor perimeter surveillance of businesses and parking lots
• Monitoring entrances, driveways, and access points
• Coverage of medium-range areas such as courtyards and loading zones
• Places requiring human and vehicle detection for targeted alerts

How to use

Mount the camera securely to a ceiling, wall or pole using appropriate fasteners for the chosen surface, orienting the lens to cover the intended area. Connect network and power using either PoE through an Ethernet cable or a 12V DC adapter. Access the camera via the web UI, NVR UI, VIGI app, or VIGI Security Manager to complete initial setup, choose the correct lens model, configure resolution and frame rate, and set recording or event-triggered rules. Enable AI-based human and vehicle classification and define detection zones, line crossing rules, and notification preferences to reduce false alarms.

Recommendations

For best results, select the lens focal length that matches your coverage requirements (2.8 mm for wide-angle, 4/6 mm for longer distance), position the camera to avoid direct strong light sources, and keep firmware up to date. Use PoE where possible to simplify cabling and ensure reliable power delivery. Regularly review detection zones and sensitivity to tune alerts to your environment.
